Ok the first thing to do is to scroll down to the picture. He is not the most handsome guy you have ever seen? I have goose bumps! What a tremendous week. Tom got permission to drive a few days ago and that really helped free us both up. Then on Tuesday he went and got his first blood work done since the chemo started. (Results later in the email…I'm building tension.) On Wednesday and Thursday Tom went back to Gothum and worked two half days! And since I am bragging he managed to help a friend who is also undergoing some medical challenges. But today was the kicker. Dr. Kew called and said her longest patient on the chemo mix Tom is taking is having great results. The woman had a tumor regrowth that was very large and aggressive. In four months her tumor is gone! We don't even need to make Tom's disappear but rather just make sure it does not come back again! He is also reacting very well to the chemo (drum roll please…). His blood work came back today so good Dr. Kew actually reduced his dosages! Tom, myself, and our insurance company are all very excited. And to top it off tonight Tom got a hair cut. I'd write more but have to go hang out with my hunk.As always thank you for your emails, calls, visits, love and especially your prayers. Please keep us on your lists. We are here today because of each of you. Love Theresa

7.6.07 Tom gets his stitches out
Yesterday Tom got his stitches out! You may think that is news but I was actually able to videotape the event without fainting (I'm a bit weak of stomach!). The process was clean, painless and over in minutes. This means in a few days Tom can get the top of his head wet and in a few weeks he could swim if he wanted. An even bigger event was that Tom attacked his email last night and was very successful. He is recovering great and his improvement is remarkable. As I type at 6:30 in the morning he out on his morning walk and even has a breakfast date! I am so proud of his hard work and daily victories. This is due in large part to your prayers and love. Please keep it up if you can. We are a long way from the finish line! All my love,Theresa
